Keeping in mind the need and demand for practical training in market, the Government of India with collaboration of four Regional Boards of Apprenticeship/Practical Training is providing apprenticeship training to the engineering graduates/technician apprentices under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended in 1973.

The duration of the training will be for One year. Each selected Engineering graduate will be receiving a monthly stipend of Rs.3,560.

Educational Qualification

1.Graduate Apprentice
  • A Degree in Engineering/Techonolgy awarded by a statutory University or by an Institution empowered to award such Degree by an Act of parliament.
  • An examination of professional bodies recognised by central Government as equivalent to Degree
  • A Sandwich Course student who is undergoing training as per the curriculum in order that he may hold a Degree in Engineering/Technology as mentioned (a) above.
